Creative Writing Club is beyond excited to host our inaugural Zine Fiend Competition! This event begins with a talk about the history and making of zines, then moves into a workshop where participants are given a blank zine to fill with their own writing/art/whatever else they find exciting and liberating.

Each zine will contain 8 blank pages to fill out. Participants are welcome to pre-plan their zines, or come in completely open to wherever their hearts take them.

SOU students of all majors and interests are welcome.

There's an OPTIONAL competition aspect, as well. Those who wish to compete will leave their zines behind for judging, but will of course receive them back after the process is complete. This is completely optional, and not a stern requirement.
