Prior to his posting as a Diplomat-in-Residence, Gliha served as Consul General and U.S. Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, U.S. Consulate General – Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In his two decades of service as a diplomat in the State Department's Foreign Service, he has served in Washington D.C., and abroad in Lebanon, Qatar, Saudia Arabia, the United Kingdom, and Yemen.
