We Are the Music Makers… brings together the Southern Oregon University Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble for an engaging evening of live music celebrating creativity, collaboration, and performance. The program features a diverse selection of jazz standards and contemporary wind works by composers including Robert Schumann, Benny Carter, Bernhard Heiden, and JaRod Hall, showcasing the versatility and artistry of SOU’s student musicians alongside faculty performers.

Featured soloists include Emma Parr and Kyllian Lecours, alto saxophone, and Dr. Christi McLain, soprano. Join us for an inspiring night of ensemble and solo performance in the SOU Music Recital Hall.
