Attention student leaders of SOU Clubs and Organizations-
Join Student Activities for an interactive workshop that will help give you the tools and skills to run effective club meetings!  Running meetings can be tricky- sometimes people don't engage, it's hard keeping members' attention, or leaders and members aren't getting much done.  This workshop will help you with your leadership and organization which will lead towards more interactive and interesting club meetings- on both Zoom and in person.  This will be an hour long interactive workshop conducted over zoom by Student Activities Staff.

This event is geared towards all SOU student leaders of clubs or organizations, but any SOU student interested in the topic can attend. This workshop is included as one of the experiences that counts towards the Student Leadership Certificate.

Learning Goals for this event:

• Participants will identify and discuss different techniques for running effective executive board and general body meetings for their organizations.
• Participants will create and/or update a meeting agenda outline to use in their meetings
• Participants will discuss how to make their meetings more engaging and set goals for a future activity they will include in an organization meeting.
• Participants will identify challenges within their organization and propose possible solutions to help mitigate these challenges.
