Interested in nonprofit management, sustainable farming, or education? The executive director of Rogue Valley Farm to School Sheila Foster will be speaking on January 24th. Rogue Valley Farm to School educates youth on how our food system works. Their goal is to offer hands-on gardening programs and increase the healthy and local food in schools. Sheila is the former development director for Marin Organic, Ventana Wildlife Society, Science Works Hands-on Museum, and Lomakatsi Restoration Project. Sheila continues to work on creating a healthier planet and healthier communities through education. Additionally, Sheila is an active member of the Ashland Rotary Club. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about future careers or how to manage a sustainable garden. Everyone is welcome to attend.
