Jefferson Public Radio and the Oregon Center for the Arts present Darlingside with special guest River Whyless in concert Monday night, March 4th at the SOU Music Recital Hall in Ashland at 8 pm.
JPR favorite Darlingside is known for their lush choral harmonies and dynamic performances. NPR has called their music "exquisitely-arranged, literary-minded, baroque folk-pop." River Whyless is another string-based band that has become a regular on JPR playlists and NPR says they combine "exceptional songwriting talent and unexpected sounds for something truly singular." Both bands have performed NPR Tiny Desk Concerts and have been featured prominently as World Cafe "Essential and Emerging Artists." Join us for a special evening of music featuring two bands making a name for themselves on the contemporary music scene.
Tickets are $30 General Public / $15 SOU Student with valid student ID. Tickets are available online by CLICKING HERE, or at the SOU Box Office: 541-552-6348.
