environmental advocate today, highlighting the struggles and successes of those who are
fighting to protect our planet. The screening will be followed by a very special virtual Q&A

a 200-foot tall California redwood tree for 738 days . Tickets are $20 and free for SOU students,
staff, and faculty w/ ID.
Check out the raffle at each film showing! The big prize on Nov. 2 will be a day of rafting on the
Rogue River for six people and on Nov. 16 win a one-hour phone call or 45-minute zoom video
with Julia Butterfly Hill. Raffle tickets are only sold at the event and you must be present to win.
Film tickets are sold separately for each screening. Purchase film tickets at

When we learn about our environment and the work being done to protect it, we become more
informed and engaged citizens, ready to take action and make a difference. The Fall Film series
is a prequel to our annual event the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, which will be held next April
2024, in both Grants Pass and Ashland.
