A hackathon is a type of coding competition where participants code a program in a limited amount of time.

This year's Hackathon will be on Tuesday March 28th (spring break) and will be a hybrid event.

All current SOU students can participate regardless of their major. Students across a variety of majors learn to code while at SOU. Submissions are accepted in C, C++, Java, JavaScript, or Python. HTML and CSS code is also welcome.

Current students at COS, KCC, SWOCC, and UCC can also participate.

Monetary prizes will be awarded for the top three submissions. All registered participants will receive a Hackathon t-shirt, thermos, stickers, and more!
