Friday the 13th Town Hall
About this Event
Are you a student who is tired of not having your voice heard on campus? Are there issues that don’t just impact you or the community you’re a part of on this campus, but campuses across the state? Would you like to have a conversation with legislators who represent YOU and who can make an impact on the state-level?
Then JOIN US on Friday the 13th, as State Senator Jeff Golden and State Representative Pam Marsh will be here to discuss issues such as: Higher Education Funding, Housing/Food Insecurity, and the Environmental Crisis.
We ESPECIALLY want to bring attention to challenges faced by student communities on this campus! So if you identify as LGBTQ+, a Student of Color, a Disabled Student, an International Student, an Out-Of-State Student, or a Student Veteran, we encourage you to attend and bring at least one issue that has impacted you personally. REMEMBER, they represent YOU! But they can only do that, when they hear from...you guessed it, YOU.
Food and refreshments provided.
