2021 Oregon Fringe Festival: FINE ARTS: A P*rn Show, The Annihilistic Missionaries, Honorarium Recipient

FINE ARTS: A P*rn Show is a miniseries that follows two classically trained actors who recently moved to LA. The old friends reconnect at an adult entertainment audition and enter a multi-episodic fever dream. The show tackles sex, artistry, kinks, comfort zones, and the absurdity the industries have to offer, both theatrical and pornographic alike.

After completing their Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Theatre Arts from Southern Oregon University, Ginger and Johnny relocated to the hellhole of Los Angeles, CA. During their hour-long commutes to nightly rehearsals for an “interesting” community theatre production in 2019, they were inspired to form The Annihilistic Missionaries. The theatrical duo’s work explores traditionally taboo themes through absurdist humor.
