"Including Us": A Centerpiece film with director Brandon Givens, Eddie Lopez, Preston Mead, and cast members.

Join us for an AIFF film showing of "Including Us" on Saturday, October 5th at the SOU Music Recital Hall. Film starts at 7:00pm and runs 35 minutes.

ABOUT THE FILM:

"Including Us" is about the exceptional Teens in Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s Hairspray: The Broadway Musical is a rare insider's view into the radically inclusive 2019 production. The film follow's the experiences of four teen actors with disabilities, and goes behind the scenes to explore the triumphs and challenges of disability inclusion both on stage and off. The cast, crew, and families open up about the transformative power of inclusion. We reconnect with our stars, now young adults, to see where life has taken them since their momentous experience on stage.

OSF veteran actor Eddie Lopez, our very own Corny Collins, will host a discussion and Q&A with the filmmakers and the four young actors from Hairspray who experience disabilities. They will also be joined by their onstage mentor from Hairspray, OSF actor, Preston Mead.
