Main Gallery: Justin Favela: Together/Juntos
Justin Favela is a mixed media artist who does large-scale installation sculptures in the piñata style or medium. His work references pop culture, art history, society, cultural commentary, and his own Guatemalan-Mexican-American heritage that is rooted in growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Heiter Gallery: Victor Maldonado: Excerpts from a Book I'll Never Write
Artist Statement: "I’ve been drawing as long as I can remember. It was my first language before I could speak. I learned how to draw from observation and from my imagination. I learned that I could draw portraits of my abusers and tormentors and that they would stop. That I could draw pictures of my family and friends from memory and always have them with me."
Treehaven Gallery: Self Help Graphics & Art: A Selection of Prints
Self Help Graphics & Art fosters the creation and advancement of new art works by Chicana/o and Latinx artists through experimental and innovative printmaking techniques and other visual art forms.
