Environmental Educator Training: Project WILD

Have you ever wondered what is wild about Project WILD? Come explore this interdisciplinary conservation and environmental education program that focuses on wildlife and habitat. This interactive training will familiarize you with Project WILD and specifically with their K-12 Curriculum and Activity Guide. All attending participants will receive a copy of the physical guide. The guide contains everything educators need to implement a lesson from background information to key vocabulary and all the important information in between. Dedicated sections of each activity show alignments to wildlife careers and STEM applications, as well as field investigation activities and teaching outdoor components. These activities will be augmented by Oregon specific resources to truly make the activities place-based.
