Travel through the wonderful and surreal dreams of an Old Man, as he fights off a haunting nightmare. He has to visit the Dream Mechanic to find a solution! Extraordinary physical theatre actor JAMES DONLON, and madcap Argentine mime/clown LUCIANO BRINDISI explode on the stage with electric energy solving the “NOW” with absurd and eccentric antics. With inventive staging full of movement, comedy, mystery, and adventure, James Donlon and Luciano Brindisi collaborate on this new show bringing a combined 95 years of international performance experience.

 

JAMES DONLON: James Donlon has been a master of mime and clown for over 55 years presenting his original work throughout the USA, Latin America, and Europe. The New York Times describes his work as “An extraordinary blend of skill and lunacy!”. James was head of movement for SOU’s BFA Acting Program for several years, and been a film coach for many Oscar winners including Kathy Bates and Javier Bardem. James founded international training schools for physical theatre, and been on the faculties of many of the USA’s most prestigious MFA and BFA acting programs. Website: www.jamesdonlon.com

 

LUCIANO BRINDISI: Madcap physical comedy actor Luciano Brindisi of Argentina is recognized throughout South America and Europe as a master of mime, clown, and physical comedy. Luciano’s shows have toured over 100 cities in Argentina, Brasil, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Italy and Spain. He has presented in International mime festivals throughout South America and Europe, performed on many Argentine television programs, and appeared in films including the Cannes Festival. Luciano developed and performed in numerous promotions for international companies, and is a multi-award winner in Argentina for his work with the arts in education. Website: www.lucianobrindisi.com
