We will start with what recruiters say they are looking for when they read your resume-- knowing your audience is important!. . We'll cover the basics: the things absolutely every resume should have, and the optional things that might depend on industry.. . We'll talk about tailoring your resume to the job you are applying for, and why you should be altering your resume for each job application.. . & we will talk about cover letters, since most applications will expect one to accompany your resume. . . . . Feel free to bring food with you to eat during the presentation, and to bring a copy of your resume or a laptop to make notes and changes as we go along.
