The Ashland Chamber Music Workshop was established in 1972 and welcomes musicians to come together for a week of chamber music study. Participating musicians include working professionals, music educators, retirees, and recreational musicians.

Each day you will be assigned to a new mixed instrumentation (strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, piano and voice) ensemble to prepare music for performance that same day. 

Rehearsals are informal and led by professional coaches. The music covers all eras and styles. New music, new musicians, new ensembles – each of the 5 days, culminating in a 3pm showcase. In the evenings, many participants opt to freelance perform, while others attend the Oregon Shakespeare or Britt Art and Music Festivals.

2023 Workshop Fee: $550 which includes $100 deposit. The deposit is non-refundable and due upon notification of acceptance.College/high school student discounts available - $275 fee. You should receive your letter of acceptance no later than April 1, 2023.
