"Aging, Ageism & the Future of Elderhood"

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Southern Oregon University in partnership with SOU's Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are pleased to present, "Aging, Ageism & the Future of Elderhood" with leading geriatrician, writer and educator, Dr. Louise Aronson on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 3:00 PM Pacific Time via Zoom.

PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION

Aging and old age have changed dramatically in recent decades, sometimes for the better, and sometimes not. More recently, the COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated not only the ageism built into key social structures but also the resilience of older people and the importance of social connections. This presentation will challenge how you think about aging and provide suggestions for how we can all, as individuals and organizations, improve aging and older lives.

We're honored to have Dr. Aronson and hope you'll join us for this timely and relevant presentation. Listen for yourself and the ones you love, support, and/or care for in your life.
