A Hobbit’s Tale, or There and Back Again is a new play for all ages based on the classic novel by J.R.R. Tolkien. Bilbo Baggins’ life was peaceful until the wizard Gandalf whisked him away on an adventure. Can Bilbo overcome his fears and face the dragon, Smaug the Terrible? This performance will stay faithful to the whimsical tone of the book, but will feature a fresh new take on its story.

A Hobbit’s Tale, or There and Back Again has been put together by a group of students at Southern Oregon University who are passionate about immersive theatre and bringing viewers new and exciting content.
