Using geolocative sound technology, viewers are invited to traverse campus and hear the music emanating from each garden, each with a unique wealth of layers and harmonic world to explore. Dean Kyle is a junior studying Percussion and Electronic Arts at Southern Oregon University. He likes to write music for both computers and human musicians. Being queer and autistic is an essential component of his work and his interest in indulging and re-indulging in rich sensory experiences is a primary motivator for all of his creative endeavors. One of Dean’s most important guiding principles goes as follows: The verb that connects musicians to music is “play.”
