2021 Oregon Fringe Festival: Together at Last at Twilight Time, Kyle Peets

Railroad Park, Ashland, OR 97520

As per state guidelines, maintaining 3 feet of social distancing is required in addition to wearing a mask.

Together at Last at Twilight Time is a simple performance that involves gathering a group of individuals to watch the sunset together in silence. The performance begins when the sun begins to crest below the horizon, and ends when all of the color has left the sky. Participants can get up, stretch, and walk around. However, they must remain in silence until the sky has disappeared. So, come and turn everything OFF.

Kyle Peets is a multi-disciplinary artist and educator based in Ashland, OR, whose work maneuvers through that strange space just beyond meaning, as a place filled with opportunity to use humor, mischief, and poetry to critique dominant narratives and conventions in order to imagine new ones. Kyle’s work has been archived in the Watson Library Special Collections, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and MoMA Manhattan, Artist’s Books.
