2021 Oregon Fringe Festival: Q+A with Carlos Fernandez Gianni

Content Warning: Themes of death, depiction of homophobic and transphobic attacks, inclusion of racism, racial slurs, sexism, misogyny, transphobia, and homophobia.

Concha is an autobiographical show that explores queer experiences and all of the glorious, messy, things that come with it. In this collection of monologues, we find out about Concha’s story, including coming out, moving to London, falling in love, and their relationship with family, friends, and sex. Concha will bring us into their queer world to start a conversation and to change views on the LGBTQ+ community. Expect witty lines, music, make-up, and glitter.

Carlos Fernandez (they/them) is a London-based actor and writer from Paraguay. They’re currently studying a B.A. in Acting at St. Mary’s University. They have worked with theatres such as Theatre Royal Stratford East and Soho Theatre.
