2021 Oregon Fringe Festival: A Different Way of Thinking, Cody Clark, Honorarium Recipient
Saturday, May 1, 2021 1:30pm to 2pm
About this Event
In his performance, Cody combines magic, comedy, and storytelling to share what living with autism is like for him. By placing his routines within common life experiences, you’ll see how he’s different, yet relatable. After the performance, you’ll feel that autism is nothing to be scared of, but rather a different way of thinking about the world.
Cody Clark is a 27 year old professional magician and autistic self-advocate from Louisville, KY. His magic empowers by helping people discover and celebrate what truly makes them unique. He’s shared the Louisville Palace stage with Lance Burton, won the ‘Society of American Magicians Rising Star of Magic’ award, and is keeping busy virtually with magic shows and adult transition planning talks for clients worldwide. A Different Way of Thinking has won ‘Winner Best Comedy’ and ‘Best Variety Show’ at the 2021 Tucson Virtual Fringe Festival.
