GSWS: Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Program

Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies is an engaging addition to any major at Southern Oregon University. Students who minor in GSWS develop a unique set of analytical and practical skills to help influence and build more equitable communities. Students with plans for careers in areas such as counseling, education, social work, medicine, law, business, or the arts commonly report that GSWS courses add greater depth and insight to their preparation for future careers. This, in turn, makes them stronger candidates for employers and graduate schools.
